The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) organised the Constable (General Duty) written examination nationwide. The examination was conducted in multiple shits from 20 February to 12 March 2024. Aspirants are now looking forward to the recruitment board’s release of the SSC GD Answer Key 2024.
The release of the SSC GD Constable Answer Key is expected shortly, following the completion of the examination on 12 March. The selection process for the SSC GD Constable post is multi-phased, and designed to examine the overall capabilities and suitability of the candidates for the Constable vacancies. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is the initial phase, followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the Physical Standard Test (PST), and finally, the Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
The written exam consisted of 80 multiple-choice questions, covering topics such as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and General Hindi/English. Each question carries 2 marks, making the total marks 160. Candidates were given 60 minutes to complete the test. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
SSC GD Answer Key Objection Submission Details
If you find any discrepancies or have objections to any of the answers provided in the tentative answer key, the SSC offers a procedure to raise objections. It allows candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key by paying a fee of Rs. 100 per objection.
Objections must be submitted online through the SSC website, using the candidates’ login details. The specific dates for submitting objections will be mentioned in the answer key notice. Candidates are advised to thoroughly review the answer key before raising any objections.
How to calculate marks with SSC Constable Question Paper Solution
- Correct Answers: First, count the number of questions you answered correctly in the exam. Multiply this number by 2, as each correct answer is worth 2 marks. This will give you your total marks for correct answers.
- Incorrect Answers: Next, count the number of questions you answered incorrectly. Multiply this number by 0.25, as 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. This will give you the total penalty for incorrect answers.
- Calculate Net Score: Subtract the total penalty for incorrect answers from the total marks for correct answers. This will give you a net score out of 160.
Steps to download the SSC Constable GD Answer Key 2024
- Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at www.ssc.gov.in.
- Once on the homepage, look for the link that says “Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheets- Constable (GD) in CAPF, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in NCB Examination 2024“.
- Clicking on the answer key link will open a new webpage where candidates will find the Shift and Date wise document.
- You will be prompted to log in to view the answer key on that webpage. Enter your credentials to log in, such as your roll number and password.
- After logging in, the answer key for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Now download it and also take out a printout of it.
- Then match your responses with the answer given on the official key.
